MAGIC ISLAND (9) had an excuse when pulling up mildly lame at Morphettville last time out when following on from a couple of stout efforts to open this prep. Stick with him on an each-way basis. TORRITA (8) was not bad on a quick backup here nearly 7 weeks ago, and the freshen-up since then would have done her no harm. She can make full use of the pole position and can bounce straight back into the money here. WIN TO RETIRE (13) has found it hard to win another race and has followed her trainer over from WA. A recent trial was good, and any market confidence is worth following. YARRAWIZARDHARRY (2) needed the run fresh up on a track that was too testing for him.
