Murray Bridge Race 2 - Spry Civil Construction (Bm66)
TWEETER (3) gave a bold sight in the LR Oaklands Plate last week at a juicy quote and fought on gamely into fourth. At her top now and gets a good swing of LALOR with the 3kg claim coming back into effect. Can get the job done this time. LALOR (2) was well supported in the Oaklands Plate but couldn't meet expectations when clearly below his best. If he can quickly put that run behind him he's a great chance to get off the mark, though the weight swing will test him. LE MORNE (4) was good on debut when sticking on gamely behind LALOR and Brevitas here three weeks ago. Likely improver, though may still need another run. PURE CROWN (5) is a Nicconi gelding on debut for R & C Jolly camp who have a great record with juveniles. Has built nicely at the trials and is one to keep in mind. NEVEU (1) has good early toe and should give backers a sight third-up.
