Mountaineer Park Race 2 - Race 2 - Allowance

CARNIVAL ROCK (1) is having his first look at a turf track this time. Was working his way into form and was sent out the public elect last time when successful by 8 lengths over 1609m on dirt at Mountaineer Park. No reason the transition to this surface will stop him. ELDEST SON (9) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1811m at Monmouth Park Turf (Turf). Has a formidable record at this journey with three wins and four placings from seven starts and should prove tough to beat. DEVIL'S HARVEST (6) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 14 when beaten 8 lengths into ninth at Colonial Downs Inner Turf (Turf) over 1710m. This doesn't look as hard so he is likely to play a big role. LUCKY JEREMY (8) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1207m at Thistledown (Dirt). Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
