BISTINEAU BLIZZARD (2) was in contention on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1006m at Belterra Park Turf after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. NESSY (8) showed good early speed and led around the bend last start before being cut down, finishing fourth and beaten 2.5 lengths over this journey at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic). Bold showing expected with the blinkers added. Can improve with Lasix added for the first time today. ECHO BAY (7) didn't do a lot on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, finishing 8 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1006m at Remington Park (Dirt). Plenty of scope for improvement. Expected to do much better. BET A FORTUNE (3) is a two-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Jay P Bernardini. By Unbridled Energy from Sky Fortune. Top-three chance.
