LORD BARANOF (6) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 7 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1207m at this track a month ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Sure to run well. EL KOZAN (2) is in fine form, filling a minor placing again last start over 1207m at Mountaineer Park (Dirt) to make it five top-three finishes on the trot. Draws ideally and is among the main chances. ONE STEP BEYOND (1) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1006m at Mountaineer Park, beaten 2.5 lengths.
