DAISYDOO (12) was a beaten favourite at Murray Bridge 3 weeks ago after having no luck in the running, getting shuffled back, and was then clear too late. She drops 3kg with the rise in class, and with some clear air, she can bounce straight back into the money here. UP THE DEN (10) relished being back on a firmer surface when scoring by over a length at Murray Bridge last time out. He won't find this much harder, and with half a kilo less to carry, he can repeat the dose, especially on a good track. VIOLET LOVEBUG (13) made solid progress last season, and resumes here at the right level for her with 3 trials under her belt. She slots into the pole position, and if the inside is the place to be, then she can give this a big shake fresh up. REAL DELUXE (6) gave a good sight, and was only run down late in the WH Wylie Handicap at Listed level here 5 weeks ago, finishing fifth. She will find this easier, and should be very competitive. GOLD SPIRIT (2) strips fitter, and is a top 4 hope.
