DIRTY OLD TOWN (9) has really gone on it with it since shedding her maiden tag three back. Has been rounding them up with arrogant wins and looks set to relish the rise to the mile. Holder sticks and if he can settle her a bit closer from the inside alley, she will prove awfully hard to stop. CANNAE (5) got off the mark in style on the Heath last start when finishing full of running. 1600m looks perfect for him and J Melham rides from a favourable draw. Big threat. BOOTLEGGER (3) was cut down by DOT in the shadows of the post last time. Strips fitter third-up so can dig a little deeper this time. UPTOWN MONK (8) made a mess of his maiden rivals at Strathalbyn last month and has kept the legs ticking over with a sharp trial win. Progressive type but slight query with the sharp rise to the mile. MOSTLY FOR SHOW (2) was well below his best behind DOT last start. Backs up quickly and is capable of a lot more. Don't dismiss.
