BLUE CREST (12) earns top billing after breaking through by three lengths at Mizusawa, where he picked up strongly and beat Main Theme with authority. The earlier Chukyo Dirt Mdn run was plain, but his latest effort was a clear step in the right direction and he keeps the winning rider. KAMINO TEIO (4) has a stronger case than his latest seventh suggests, having scored well at Mizusawa two back when beating Rara Moutiers by a length, and the rider has already produced good results on him. RYUGO PURE (10) is second-up after a narrow Mizusawa win, with Eito Sakai staying aboard after that successful pairing. NASIRIYAH (2) was third behind Taisei Gigas last time after winning as favourite at Mizusawa, and his around-1400m record gives him enough substance to be a genuine danger.

The Chukyo Dirt Mdn effort before that was plain, but he was big odds there and the return to this grade restored his confidence.
