MEISHO TADATSUGU (6) is the main danger off a fifth at this track where he made good late ground and was only beaten two lengths, with his previous Mizusawa run also better late than the margin suggests. MAIN THEME (4) has the right recent platform after being run down late when second to Blue Crest at Mizusawa, and her third-up profile gives her a genuine winning case if she holds that form. TRUONG SON (1) was below market expectations when fifth as favourite at this venue, but the inside draw, leading rider and softer set-up keep him in the mix for a minor end of the prize.
