Debuts from barrier one for Tomokazu Tachibana, whose recent first-starter record is solid from a small sample with one win and two placings from three runners. The booking of Masatoshi Yamamoto adds polish, and the inside draw gives this colt by Dream Valentino every chance to begin his career cleanly. He profiles as a genuine place contender with scope to make an immediate impression.

Starts her career from barrier two for Koichi Seto and brings the most appealing overall profile among the debutants. She is by Epicharis out of Chili Pepper, with a nine-time winning half-brother in Ryujin and relatives who have shown enough first time out to respect. With 54kg and a soft draw, she has the right credentials to prove the leading chance.

Makes her debut for Kazumune Ito, and the stable-sire combination with Gold Dream is a clear positive, producing two wins and six placings from seven starters. The family also points the right way, with Esca Tiae winning on debut and Stoic Noah placing first time out. From barrier three, she has enough substance to be a serious place hope.

Debuts for Yuji Sato, whose first-starter record is strong from a small sample, with two winners from three runners. The family offers some encouragement through Takamaki Five, a five-time winner who placed on debut over 1000m, but this filly sits outside the main selections and will have to show race-day sharpness straight away.

Begins for the Kazumune Ito stable and has the deepest pedigree in the field, with Nonlicense a Listed placegetter and multiple dirt 1200m winner. Full sibling Mammaru also placed on debut, and Yuri Takahashi is a capable booking. The profile gives her some appeal, though she still has to turn that background into race performance.

Steps out from the outside barrier for Toru Sannomiya and has a more modest debut profile than the key chances. She is by Inti out of Suzuka Arm and carries 54kg, but the stable's first-starter record stands at no wins or placings from two runners. A forward showing would require her to outperform the exposed pointers.
