Will drift back but is sure to prove tough to beat. SMITHWICK'S SPICE (6) was strongly fancied when resuming last start but was beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth over 1006m at Tampa Bay Downs Turf (Turf). Has never missed the frame second up. Expected to run well. JURISPRUDENCE (7) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a sixth at Gulfstream Park Turf (Turf) two starts back then got the job done by 0.3 lengths as public elect last time out after being prominent at the bend over 1710m at this track (Turf). Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. SUMMER BEE (8) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 1106m at Laurel Turf (Turf), beaten half a length. Will trim down following recent racing.
