SKYRUSH (6) started favourite at the last run before a break but could only manage second at Gulfstream Park (Dirt). Can pick up where he left off. Ready for a bold run while fresh. ROYAL MERIT (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1408m at Tampa Bay Downs, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. COUCHES BURNING (7) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when third at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt) over 1646m. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will give backers a great sight. HURRICANE JERRY (8) last appeared when he finished fifth over 1609m at Meadowlands (Turf) on October 4. Has switched to the Charles Spina stable. Definite top-three chance.
