BLACKJACK RANDALL (2) is the clear horse to beat after winning his past two at this track, most recently scoring as an odds-on favourite from Military Force. His record at around 1500m is strong, he has been highly reliable with Donavan Mansour, and the win over Bugle Boy two starts back showed he can put a race away when placed to advantage. ZACATOO (4) is the main danger on consistency, with placings in both recent runs and a sound record at this track and distance. He was beaten just over a length by Warbird last start and brings the right profile to challenge. TSUNAMI WARNING (1) keeps finding one better, but two BM41 seconds this campaign and proven 1500m form make him a genuine place-and-win hope if he turns those near misses into a stronger finish.
