Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. ZONG'S FAVOR (5) could only manage ninth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1609m at Evangeline Downs Turf, beaten 3 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DULCE LOREFICHE (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1609m at Fairgrounds after being in the firing line on the turn. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is good enough to play a major role. LOUISIANA STAR (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1609m at Fairgrounds, beaten 15 lengths. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
