JACKLYN LUCAS (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1207m at Santa Anita (Dirt) after she worked home in great style. Tackling a more suitable race so she is likely to play a big role. KITTY MAC (3) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing when prominent at the bend, finishing 5.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1609m at Santa Anita. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. LAST CHANCE DARCY (11) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1207m at Santa Anita, beaten 7 lengths into fifth after being prominent at the turn. Has the class to take care of this field. FACTOR P (6) has not raced since her debut back on September 7 when she finished seventh over 1106m at Del Mar (Dirt). Lasix added for the first time so certainly one to keep tabs on.
