Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. NIJINSKY HALO (7) could only manage eighth on dirt over 1106m at Del Mar two back then couldn't find the top-three on turf over 1006m at Del Mar Turf more recently. Strong contender back on the dirt. Worth another chance. SLEW'S JOY (6) returned to winning form second up last start, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 914m at this track (Dirt). Has never been out of the placings at the third run in so he is among the leading chances. TOPSTITCH (1) was in contention on the corner and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1106m at Los Alamitos (Dirt), beaten 1.5 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. Capable of another bold effort.
