EIELSON (5) finished second when resuming last time out over this course and distance, travelling towards the tail before winding up strongly in the final stages. Generally goes well here. Will be hard to stop. SIR NANO (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing third and only 1.1 lengths from the winner at the end of 914m when he worked home well. Yet to miss the placings in three starts over this course and distance. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BID ON THE PRIZE (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on August 2, finishing seventh and beaten 16 lengths over 1609m at Del Mar Turf (Turf). Among the better hopes. DO IT FOR DAVE (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing ninth at Santa Anita Turf (Turf) over 1609m. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be prominent.
