DEATH VALLEY (7) is back after a break of six months. Looking to emulate his win at Louisiana Downs at the beginning of last prep. Now under the care of new trainer J Kash Reed. One of the genuine hopes in the race. VASHTI B (8) held on well to finish second when first-up from a break last time out over 320m at Retama Park (Dirt) after leading for much of the way. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish again. JJS EAGLE (4) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start over 274m at Retama Park (Dirt), beaten 0.8 lengths. In the right race and is a key runner. THISDUDECAN DANCE (5) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 274m at Fair Meadows nine weeks ago. With the blinkers added a strong performance is on the cards.
