GIGANTE (3) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Sam Houston Park Turf (Turf) with success as public elect over 1710m at Sam Houston Park Turf (Turf) four weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CLOVISCONNECTION (4) was well fancied last start over 1308m in Listed grade at Sunray Park (Dirt) when third, beaten 6 lengths. Will find this much easier. Certainly one to consider. HOLIDAY PAY (5) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1609m at Sunland Park, beaten 6 lengths. Well placed and can make amends.
