ADGER (1) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 8 lengths back in fourth over 1673m at Sam Houston Park (Dirt). Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. HASKELLED (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1609m at Sam Houston Park, beaten 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Steps up a level but he is good enough to figure in the finish.
