WESTPORT (8) represents the George Boughey yard and makes plenty of appeal on debut. Precocious and speedy family in immediate pedigree so could go close first up. SHAVKAT (1) landed a maiden here on debut last June. Finished third subsequently tackling turf. First appearance for new connections and is definitely in the mix. COMPRADOR (5) disappointed racing at short odds attempting a Newcastle maiden last time. Cheekpieces enlisted now and needs a bit more though is capable of lifting. MAGIC LADY MAE (9) shaped well when third beaten 3.5L at Chelmsford (1400m) in latest. Retreats in distance. Worthy of respect.
