BUON AMICI (3) gets top billing off a much stronger last-start profile than the finishing position suggests, beaten two and a half lengths in provincial CL2 grade at Kalgoorlie after sitting handy and working home. He was unwanted there, but this is easier and his 1400m record is sound enough to trust. RACY RASCAL (2) is the main danger on his narrow second to Pembeton two back, with last week's ninth less damaging than it looks given he led and was only beaten three and a half lengths. Finds the right race today. DONATALLY (4) had excuses at Geraldton when slow away and checked, yet still picked up late, so the class drop and claim give him a path into the placings if he jumps cleanly. OLE GRANDE (1) comes through stronger BM56+ form, was close enough at Moora, and has claims if he carries 61kg without that weight blunting his finish. GINGERIFFIC (5) rounds them out.
