ROGUE DEFENCE (1) has only raced once but got off the mark on that sole start at Lingfield Park contesting a 1600m event last month. Open to plenty of improvement despite the penalty and should take care of this field. SNAPBACK (8) is an intriguing runner in the Middleham Park Racing colours for John and Thady Gosden. Related to winners over this distance and looks a likely chance on paper. SPIRITOFTHEBLUES (2) landed a 1400m race at Ayr back in August. Struggled on the all-weather in October and one to watch revisiting turf. FABLED SPIRIT (5) represents the Archie Watson stable who are in good form. Market check advised.
