Laurel Park Race 4 - Race 4 - Claiming

BACKNTHEWOODS (4) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start second at this track (Dirt) over 1106m when beaten 2.5 lengths. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Expected to be in the finish. SHERIFF RONNIE (2) resumed over 1308m at Timonium (Dirt) last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by half a length. Fitter for that last hitout and is expected to feature in the finish. MR SQUEAKY WHEELS (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1207m at Delaware Park, beaten only 0.1 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. BEACH COWBOY (7) improved second-up last start but found a couple better over 1207m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Another forward showing is anticipated.
