Laurel Park Race 1 - Race 1 - Mdn Special Weight
MELODIES (7) returned from a spell three weeks ago when she was beaten 10 lengths into ninth over 1308m at Belmont Park Turf. Strips fitter and can make amends. AIR KISS (5) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1106m at this track, beaten 10 lengths into fourth. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RIVER STREET LASS (1) is on debut. By Mendelssohn and comes from the Demasi Kathlee Crook stable. Bold showing expected. JOSIE G (2) debuted three weeks ago when she finished fifth over 1106m at this track (Turf), beaten 11 lengths. Top-three chance with that run under her belt.
