Laurel Park Race 6 - Race 6 - Mdn Claiming
AYNI (3) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing when in contention on the bend, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1106m at Colonial Downs. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. OLD MAN'S DREAM (8) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing second and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1006m at this track (Dirt). Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. POOR JACQUI (2) ended up 8 lengths behind the winner in fourth on debut last start over 1006m at this track (Dirt). Drew out on that occasion but has a low draw this time. Plenty of scope for improvement. Likely to feature. RUSSIAN IRIS (4) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of W R Bailes. By Catalina Cruiser from Double Duty. Worth watching for a betting push.
