PROTON (5) stepped up in trip to 1710m last time in the G3 Transylvania Stakes at Keeneland Turf (Turf) and ran below his best, finishing 4 lengths away in seventh. Kept fresh since that last run so looks a leading contender. MY FAVORITE BIRD (1) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second last start over 1609m at Listed level at Gulfstream Park Turf (Turf), beaten 1.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ATTFIELD (4) is a talented colt who was well held last time out in the tougher race won by Remember Mamba over 1710m at Keeneland Turf, beaten 4 lengths into ninth. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. TURF STAR (6) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 18 lengths away in ninth over 1811m at Turfway Park. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
