Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Aqueduct (Dirt) over 1609m. Nicely placed and expected to go well. MY MILITARY HERO (5) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for second last start over 1207m at this track (Dirt) when he came from a long way back on straightening, making it three minor placings in a row. Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BRIGHTSHININGLIGHT (6) has not been to the races since he finished third on debut over 1207m at this track on June 20. Big run is likely. BALTIC (4) is a four-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing second at Charles Town (Dirt) over 905m last time out after being in contention on the turn. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners.
