SHINES DISCREETLY (3) capped some solid form with a well-deserved maiden win here 2 weeks ago over 1600m. He should relish the step up to a middle distance for the first time, and should go close to repeating the dose. OPENSEA (2) has yet to his his straps this season, but did look a lot better when winning a recent trial. He meets the right sort of field, and is expected to bounce back into some good form here. Each way. NICALBI (1) did not fire last time out, but will have Hayley Spitse back in the saddle, and they combined to win 3 starts back when clearing maiden class. He is worth another chance in this. LYCO RECO (7) is like many here that have found it hard to win another race. Daniel Ganderton picks up the ride for the first time, and maybe he can make the difference where it matters most. Include.
