SNOWDONIA (5) found 1600m a tad too far here 3 weeks ago, and failed to run on after racing close to the pace. Her form prior to this trip is the guide to use, and from a good draw, she can bounce back to take this out. HOLD THE DOOR (2) made his local debut here a fortnight ago, and looked to be in need of the run. He has the visors on this time, and his only win in NSW came second up. Allow him another chance. KAKIA (1) is a very consistent gelding, who will have top hoop David Pires back in the saddle to replace a 4kg claiming apprentice. He has to shoulder the full 62.5kg, but another honest run is expected. HALEN (4) has raced his way into form, and ran on nicely late here 2 weeks ago when finishing runner-up. Include in all top 4 combos. I'M CHEV (6) was half a run short here last start, and will have less time between runs this time. Each-way value.
