VABUIAGI (9) ran on late fresh up for third here 2 weeks ago from a wide draw, and she will settle a lot closer to the pace this time from a superior gate. She is the one to beat for us. ALPINE WHISKEY (1) was trapped 3 wide on the pace throughout when resuming from a spell, and fought on gamely for second by a neck here 3 weeks ago. He is likely to push forward again here, and should be right in the finish again. RED WINTER (3) finished third on debut here over this trip, before finishing seventh last time out over 1220m on this track. He is worth another chance. EFFRONTERY (5) has been well beaten in both of her starts back from a spell, but her trial form says she is better than that, and she can figure in the top 4 here. THE RED SHE DEVIL (7) can make full use of the pole position and is another who is worth including in all combos.
