Launceston Race 2 - Roct Owners Race Night (Bm60)

ZUNI (10) settled midfield and was just fair through the line when resuming over 1200m at this track last start. Has raced here once over this evening's distance and was successful. Down a little in grade and is well treated after the claim so this sets up nicely. FLUFFY'S GIRL (6) is back after a 12-week spell. Some key stats point towards a big run - placed two from two when fresh, two wins and three placings from five Launceston appearances, and has placed in three from three here at the trip. Sure to give a good account. THE WIZARD KING (4) led and gave a sight but was found wanting in the closing stages when fresh from a spell over 1200m here recently. Well drawn and with Newitt to steer back to 1100m he makes plenty of appeal. STREET DIVA (1) returns from a six-month break. Won a similar race to this at tonight's venue to launch last prep. Major player. LAWRENNY BOYS (3) last raced 15 weeks ago. Will be better next time but still worth each-way consideration.
