ELEGANTLY WRITTEN (4) has disappointed her last two on the synthetic, but her form this track/trip stacks right up for this contest. Dopes in grade with a handy 1.4kg claim, and she's found a winnable assignment. Things didn't work out for GODDESS OF ROCK (8) at Hobart a month ago, but her form prior over this distance stacks right up. The inside gate has to be managed but she rates a player. DESIGNER DREAMER (2) spiked his figures winning a 68 this track/trip and has scope for further improvement. Draws awkwardly but is in the mix. MONTEZULU (3) won and then just missed following in 60s before a plain effort in the race won by the above. He's better than that and has the tongue tie on for the first time.
