CANTICLE (1) did not perform up to expectations when heavily backed on debut at Moe, and he was found to be mildly lame after that run. He dons the blinkers for the first time, and with a clean bill of health, he is set to make amends. On top for us. THE UNDERQUOTER (4) was put aside after a modest debut as a juvenile, and he has been a late scratching this season when down to resume last month. He has jumped out since then with no problems, and he is a top 4 hope fresh up at this level. TUZEMAK (9) looked all over the winner at Pakenham-synthetic last time out before being bloused late, finishing second by a short head. Hard to beat this time. TEEN TORQUE (8) will be peaking at the right time third up from a spell, and from a good draw, she is another with sound top 4 claims. SONDERA (7) ran an encouraging race fresh up when finishing fourth at Bendigo, and she will find this easier. Stick with her, but don't expect a fancy price this time.
