BARARI (1) won't know himself back to this grade. Second-up here after a sixth placing at Pakenham in a BM66 won by the ultra-promising Trapper John, while at his last run before the spell he started $10 in a race won by Point Barrow. Much better suited here and the class drop can offset the big weight. ZETALYN (2) is also second-up after a nice return, finishing second to a horse that won on Monday's Adelaide Cup Day undercard. Was only narrowly beaten there and is yet to miss a place in two second-up runs. SKELLIG ROCK (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at Moe but strips fitter and can feature. There looks to be a bit of a gap to the rest but MONTJUIC MAGIC (3) can feature if he rediscovers the form from his first two runs back. The worry is a couple of plain runs since. STRUGGLE STREET (6) is up from picnic grade but is from a trainer who's demonstrated an ability to get them to rise from picnic grade to win at the pros.
