ALMA MATER (1) returned to action with a 1.75L third competing in a 1600m conditions event at Chantilly. Major player. WINTERSONNE (7) has won both previous starts including by 1.25L tackling 1800m in a conditions event at Le Croise-Laroche. Expected to deliver a big effort stepping up in grade. KENDELYA (3) failed to have an impact recording a 7.75L last of seven attempting 1600m in the G3 Prix de la Grotte at Longchamp. One to note.
