Moody-Coleman-trained CONFLICT (3) resumed off a promising maiden preparation with a dominant win over 1112m at Geelong, heavily bet. Sparingly raced and is sure to keep improving. Maps for the run of the race, and Pozman stays aboard and claims 1.5kg today. COME ALONG JEFFREY (2) resumes for new trainer Jamie Edwards. Showed some ability in South Australia when last in work, and will be forward for this after two recent wins at the Geelong jumpouts. Has the inside barrier and can come back much improved. MANDRAKI (4) resumes for a top metro stable and was last seen at the races winning a Swan Hill Maiden. Has a handy barrier and a 1.5kg claim and has impressed at the Pakenham jumpouts. Is sure to run well. VALIDATED (1) resumes and is much better than the form-line suggests. Has switched from a South Australian yard and has raced well in stronger than this. Has had three jumpouts and races well fresh. The 4kg claim brings him into it.
