NEWS (1) settled towards the rear before finishing strongly to win on debut over 1400m at Southwell. Has plenty of scope for improvement. Can follow up. LILY PINK (5) showed good pace when second by 2L over 1600m at Newmarket last time. Steps up in grade but remains a leading contender. WATCH PARTY (8) has been knocking on the door with successive placings including most recently tackling 1400m at Yarmouth. Should get involved again. RED CURRY (7) looks to be a nicely bred juvenile. By top sire Sea The Stars out of Auld Alliance. Gosden yard often does well with these types and is expected to be ready.
