The second mentioned scored over 1200m at Brighton and should be suited by this step up to 1400m despite a weight concession representing the main danger. THE MONKEY KING (5) is a Time Test gelding out of Baldovina from the Ralph Beckett yard and looks an interesting newcomer. Makes appeal. DUKE OF BURGUNDY (8) shaped with promise when third at Leicester over 1400m and can build on that. Not discounted.
