QUICK QUASAR (4) managed to take a sizeable step forward adopting first time cheekpieces after being gelded at Southwell earlier in the week. Only denied by a neck on that occasion and backs up quickly. Could prove very hard to beat. SOUTH COAST STAR (7) performed better in a 1400m contest at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago and remains of interest receiving a nice draw. AMBER HAMUR (2) goes handicapping at a realistic level after struggling in the three qualifying runs. Might find things much easier now. Respect. ARCHANGEL JOSEPI (6) comes more exposed than most in this field. Building towards a bold show and is one to note.
