WEST ACRE (1) did well against a more experienced rival over 1000m at Newcastle on debut. Stepping up to 1200m is expected to suit and the George Scott trained gelding can remain unbeaten. NAHI (7) has not raced since a pleasing debuting fourth at Nottingham (1000m) in June. Form of that event has worked out and racing for trainer Clive Cox rates highly with progress likely. NEWLYN SCHOOL (8) needs to be included after showing up nicely managing a fifth tackling this trip at Ascot (1200m). LAZZAR (6) also merits consideration.
