Some promising types clash in a good maiden. THE ROARING SUN (9) was backed from $21 into $15 on debut at Warwick Farm in April and almost repaid supporters, coming from next to last at one stage to be beaten a long neck at the end of 1300m. Recently defeated stablemate GLENORCHY in a trial so he looks ready for a strong return. GRAFFITI TYCOON (3) is back from a five-month spell. Raced three times in the maiden campaign, all in town, for three minor placings at or around this trip. Cranked up his ratings as he went along which is positive. Trialling very well and is a big threat to the Waller top pick. GLENORCHY (8) is back after a four-month lay-off. Started favourite and finished second in the Listed Show A Heart last prep to underline his quality. A wide gate is the only knock. Market watch on Maher's first starter BADAWI (7) who placed in his latest trial. A gap then to MICHONNE'S KATANA (6) who resumes. Best form is not up to the top handful but can squeak into the top four.
