SOUTHERN WAY (2) is yet to break through after three career starts. Could only manage to finish ninth last time out over 1609m at Churchill Downs (Dirt) following a minor placing at Ellis Park (Dirt) over 1207m the run prior. Among the leading chances. AVOS ROSE (9) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1509m at Canterbury Park Turf, beaten 3.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Meeting a deeper field this time but she cannot be underestimated. VALENTINE EVE (10) has been freshened up since racing on the speed and fading to finish fifth over 1207m at Ellis Park (Dirt) on August 17. Should camp just off the leaders. Solid claims on best form.
