Keeneland Race 5 - Race 5 - Mdn Special Weight
PSALM BEAUTY (8) will find this a little easier than her second on debut six-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten 2.5 lengths at the end of 1207m at Saratoga (Dirt). Has plenty of upside so a big run is anticipated. ICE EMPRESS (4) finished second, beaten 2 lengths, over 1207m at Ellis Park (Dirt) on debut ten weeks ago and has been kept under wraps since. Sure to have improved over the break and is among the main hopes. VIOLENT GAL (6) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 19 lengths when eighth over 1609m at Ellis Park (Dirt). Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. RUN KIKI RUN (3) is a two-year-old filly at the races for the first time. From a strong family that has produced at black type level, being by Essential Quality from Pliant. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Promising type who is sure to be well-found in betting.
