MERRY MADISON (12) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1308m at Tampa Bay Downs, beaten 2.25 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ONMYWAYTOSAVTHDAY (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 16 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1710m at Oaklawn Park, beaten 4 lengths. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field. HALEAKALA (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when fourth over 1106m at Sam Houston Park a month ago after being prominent at the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to take this out. FORMAGGIO (1) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1207m at Aqueduct, beaten 21 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
