OLIVE OIL (3) is the main danger if she can leave her latest seventh behind; she was well found in betting there, yet her prior Mombetsu fourth behind Riko Raider had enough closing merit to keep her high in calculations. TENRYU SAIKO (5) placed on debut at this track and should be better for that first race experience, though the move from 900m to 1400m is the obvious test. PURE SALONGA (2) resumes off a debut third over 900m, was respected in an open market, and has place claims if she handles the extra ground first-up.
