SNIPPETS RETURN (7) is the runner to beat after coming back through a 3YO Open at Belmont, where he was beaten just under 4L in Saturday company and now finds a far more suitable maiden assignment. Right back in grade now, he draws the inside for Faithfull and everything points to a forward showing. LITTLEWOOD (8) looks set for this on debut, with some handy trials under his belt coming into this. Everything looks to work out nicely for him from a favourable barrier and Watson sticks from the latest trial. Can make an immediate impact. IS THIS THING ON (9) resumes off two trials, including a close second at Belmont in her latest heat. She's right down in the weights today and with improvement expected, she'll be hard to fend off. HOLD MY WINE (2) was sound first-up at Northam when only 1.5L off the winner. Can build on that effort. CALL ME INVINCIBLE (1) has had a few goes now but is rarely far away and has to be included.

His 2yo Open run at Ascot was plain, but this is a much easier maiden and the inside draw should let him use his on-pace pattern. Outclassed in a much stronger race last time out and and everything sets up for a forward showing this time.
