Bit of a messy run last time at Doomben, forgiving. Should be nearing a peak now and can play a major role. VEOMAS (5) finds the maiden win elusive and while he's taken his time to warm into this prep and he's probably lost a few admirers, this does set up well for him. Jones sticks and he's worth another look. XAMI (10) boasts a strong pedigree as a half sister to G1 winner Skew Wiff and is the key debutant, putting four solid trials under his belt in readiness. Suspect she can make her presence felt. WORTHY STUNNAH (3) has placed in both runs this campaign, was held up passing the 250m at this track, and has already placed twice at this distance.
