SAXON SPIRIT (11) wasn't too far off them in town when facing the starter for the first time and will have derived a bunch of benefit from that day at the races. Was well in the betting on that occasion and where there's smoke there's fire. Goes on top. STEVENTOWN (6) just ran into one better at Toowoomba on debut and has since tuned up for this with a recent trial victory. Looks sure to measure up. ZOU ZOU KAPADOKIA (7) has been thereabouts at the past three efforts and gets some weight off with the 1.5kg claim. Top-three credentials. RAISING SUSPICION (5) should appreciate the extra trip here and maps nicely for this from gate four. In the mix. PIROUETTE GIRL (10) rounds out the selections.
