Horseshoe Indianapolis Race 4 - Race 4 - Allowance Optional Claiming

TEMPLE PAYNTER (3) impressed last start when in the money over 1710m at Listed level at this track (Dirt) in a black-type race, beaten 2 lengths. Top chance. ASTERNIA (8) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1207m at Listed level at Churchill Downs (Dirt) after she settled well back. Will strip fitter and is sure to be about the mark. SPECIAL SAUCE (4) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by 6 lengths last time over 1207m at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and is expected to run well. NIGHT KISS (2) is struggling to find the winners' circle but has been around the mark, last start finishing second over 1207m at this track (Dirt). Good record at this journey including 10 wins so she must be included.
